Refund Requests

SpeakerView is sold through the Apple App Store as a one-time purchase, which means all payments are handled and processed directly by Apple — the developer of SpeakerView doesn’t have the ability to issue refunds directly, and doesn’t have access to your payment or card details at all. Refunds have to go through Apple.

The good news: Apple’s refund process is straightforward and usually resolves within a few days.

How to request a refund from Apple

Option 1 — from a web browser (works on any device):

  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
  2. Sign in with the Apple ID you used to purchase SpeakerView.
  3. Find SpeakerView in your recent purchases.
  4. Choose a reason for the refund request and follow the prompts.

Option 2 — from your iPhone:

  1. Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
  2. Tap Media & Purchases → View Account → Purchase History.
  3. Find SpeakerView, tap it, and follow the Report a Problem link.

Option 3 — from the App Store app:

  1. Open the App Store app and tap your profile icon (top right).
  2. Tap Purchased to see your purchase history.
  3. Find SpeakerView and use the option to report a problem / request a refund.

What to expect

  • Apple typically reviews and responds to refund requests within a few days.
  • You’ll get an email from Apple confirming whether the refund was approved.
  • Refund eligibility and timing are determined entirely by Apple’s own policies — SpeakerView’s developer has no visibility into, or control over, individual refund decisions.

If you’re requesting a refund because something isn’t working

We’d genuinely appreciate the chance to help before you go the refund route — most issues (import problems, translation hiccups, remote pairing, etc.) have a quick fix. Check the Troubleshooting section, or reach out via our support page and we’ll do our best to get you sorted. If a refund is still what you’d prefer afterward, that’s completely understandable — just use the Apple process above.
